On Thursday, May 27, Business Forward welcomed Sheena Meade, Managing Director of the Clean Slate Initiative, and Danyelle Solomon, Director of Justice Reform and Racial Equity Policy at Microsoft, for a briefing on the power of clean slate policies for economic development.
During the briefing, the panelists discussed how eliminating the barriers returning citizens face and expanding opportunity will help fill the need for skilled labor, and ensure that individuals, their families, and their communities are economically more stable, healthier, and safer for everyone.
